A stump is leftover work. It snags mowers, hosts termites and fungus, and keeps you from planting or laying sod. We grind stumps below grade, haul or leave the mulch as you prefer, and leave the spot raked and ready.
If you are trying to clean up a yard after a removal, booking stump grinding is almost always faster, safer, and cheaper than digging by hand. Large roots sit well below the surface. A dedicated grinder takes them out with far less disruption to nearby plants and irrigation.
Our operators take time around driveways, beds, and water lines. Chips that spray into the street get blown back. When neighbors mention Michael leveling the yard and cleaning the road, that is the standard we aim for on every stop.
Removing the stump also cuts down on volunteer weeds and the trip hazard of exposed roots. If you want the mulch for a flower bed, say so when you text. Plenty of customers keep it.
